Most of us have experienced how good it is to get together during various times of the year and spend quality time with family and friends. Because Friendship is a family of Christian’s, we too love spending time with one another. We do that in many ways here at Friendship Baptist Church.

Each year we plan a special Sportsman’s Banquet event and it is growing by leaps and bounds. And yearly, we have a special Parent’s Night Out where we provide free childcare for moms and dads who need to get away for a few hours and have some quiet time. Throughout the year, we hold special events for our church family so that we can come together as a family to laugh, play, and enjoy each others company. Vacation Bible School gives us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the children in our church and in our community. The Cub and Boy Scouts and their parents meet here at the church once a month and are provided with hot dogs and all the fixings. And every month, we have an outing with the widows in our church for them to encourage one another.

We encourage you to look at the photos to some of our events and notice the smiles on the faces of those you see in the pictures. I think you will see a family of friends, a family of Christian’s, a family of togetherness, and a family of all AGES!
