James 1:23-24 says, "Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."

God is calling upon Christians to live with moral urgency, serious holiness and unconditional obedience to the word of God. God has called Christians to become mature and complete, as first fruits of all he created. This is so high a calling and so valuable an attainment that we may consider even trials along the way pure joy! Look in the mirror, what do you look like? Let the Reflection you see be one of moral urgency, serious holiness, and unconditional obedience to the word of God.
