Wednesday night services for January 26th, 2011 have been cancelled due to the inclement weather.Lord willing we will see everyone for Sunday morning services. I want to challenge each person to invite 3 people to church this week. Have a blessed day in the Lord!____________________

During times of inclement weather a decision will be made by 7:00 a.m. for Sunday morning services; by 3:00 p.m. for evening classes; and by 3:00 p.m. for Wednesday evening activities.  Visit this website for information on cancellations, or listen to local radio stations.  Also, you can call the church office at 336-982-2080 for a  schedule changes or cancellations.  Please know that this web site is the fastest, most accurate information available to you.

You may wonder what factors are considered when deciding whether to hold services, to cancel them or to reschedule.  We carefully consider the conditions around the church facilities.  Conditions may vary significantly from one side of the county to the other.  If we are just dealing with a few inches of snow, that's not usually a problem.  But ice is another story!  We always consider the safety of our church family in getting from their homes to our facilities.  We listen to local authorities who may call for people to stay off the roads.  We consider the progress of a storm in deciding whether to have a combined service, especially if conditions are expected to improve during the day.  Many factors are compiled as we do our best to make it possible to have a safe, positive worship experience on the Lord's day. However, if we attempt to hold services, we are in no way implying that our parking lots or sidewalks are completely free of all ice or snow.  Always use good judgement and be careful.
